Media Catalog

Need local media? Droneology’s Media Catalog is an always growing curated collection of aerial and ground B‑roll and photography captured throughout Marin County. All media is available for licensed use across real estate, commercial marketing, agency campaigns, and personal creative projects. Whether you need a single clip, a full sequence, or a specific location, Droneology provides high‑quality visuals ready for professional use.

Need more? For clients who need more than raw footage or stills, Droneology also offers optional post‑production enhancements—color grading, looping, titles, splicing, annotations, brand‑matched filters, and music integration—to help tailor each asset to your exact advertising or storytelling needs.

Preview files are watermarked and shown at reduced resolution; licensed 4K masters and full‑resolution images are delivered unwatermarked with true clarity and color fidelity.

Media & Post-Production Pricing Menu

Standard Media licensing

Standard usage applies when a client licenses a clip (or group of clips) for a single project or purpose — such as using Droneology media on their website or within a single brand asset. See Droneology’s Media License for more information.

Post-Production Editing Menu

Droneology’s post‑production services help transform licensed media into polished, campaign‑ready content. Whether you’re producing a real estate walkthrough, a commercial brand video, a social media campaign, or a personal creative project, these enhancements ensure your footage and images integrate seamlessly into your final deliverables.

Post‑Production Bundles

Droneology’s post‑production bundles refine licensed media into polished, professional, campaign‑ready content—perfect for real estate, commercial, and social media use.

Whether you’re assembling a cinematic walkthrough, launching a brand campaign, producing a multi‑clip social sequence, or refining a curated location set, these bundles deliver high‑quality results with predictable pricing and a seamless client experience.

Enhanced Licensing

Enhanced licensing applies when the same media is used across multiple projects, media platforms, marketing channels— for example, using a 2–3 clip B‑roll set in promo videos for multiple real estate listings, each of which requires its own license. See Droneology’s Media License for more information.

Droneology Media License

1. Ownership of Media

All media created by Droneology — including photos, videos, aerial imagery, 360° tours, floor plans, virtual tours, and any derivative works — remains the exclusive intellectual property of Droneology LLC.

Clients receive usage rights through a license, not ownership.

People‑as‑Subject Ownership Exception

When people are the intended subject of the shoot — such as clients, families, guests, employees, or event participants — the resulting footage is delivered as client‑owned content.

Scenic, architectural, environmental, or location‑based footage where no identifiable individuals are the subject remains the exclusive property of Droneology and is licensed for use.

Privacy & Public Vantage Points

Droneology’s media catalog respects privacy. Any incidental people appearing in footage are captured legally from public vantage points, without targeting individuals or engaging in invasive monitoring.

2. Standard Project License

Every project includes a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the media solely for the specific project, property, event, or purpose for which it was created.

This license covers:

  • Websites

  • Social media

  • Presentations

  • Internal use

  • Marketing tied directly to the original project

  • Personal use (for private clients)

The license remains valid only for the original intended purpose. If the purpose changes, expands, or shifts to a new audience, a new license may be required.

3. Prohibited Uses

The following uses are not permitted under the Standard Project License:

  • Resale or redistribution of media

  • Transfer to third parties

  • Use in new campaigns, new properties, or unrelated projects

  • Use by other organizations, or agencies

  • Commercial use beyond the original project scope

  • Removal or modification of watermarks

Unauthorized use may result in removal requests, DMCA takedowns, or licensing fees.

4. Client‑Created Marketing Materials

Clients may create their own marketing materials — including flyers, reels, brochures, social posts, and ads — as long as the usage remains tied to the original project.

Use outside the original project scope requires extended licensing.

5. Licensing for Non‑Commercial & Private Clients

Homeowners, families, event hosts, nonprofits, and private individuals receive the same project‑specific license. Hiring a third party (e.g., an event planner, designer, or agency) does not transfer rights to that party without Droneology’s written permission.

6. Licensing Transfers

Licensing does not transfer automatically when a project changes hands. Examples include:

  • A new marketing agency

  • A new property owner

  • A new brand manager

  • A new creative team

Transfers apply to the entire media set created for the project.

Pricing:

  • $45 per image

  • $75 per video clip

7. Extended Commercial Licensing

Extended licensing is required for any use beyond the original project, including:

  • Brand videos

  • Promotional or advertising campaigns

  • Paid social media campaigns

  • Website hero videos

  • Portfolio showcases

  • Company or organizational marketing

  • Produced/edited marketing films

  • Any use not tied to the original project scope

Pricing:

  • $150 per video clip

  • $45 per image.

8. Annual Organization‑Wide Licensing

This license provides broad usage rights for all licensed Droneology media across an entire organization for one year. It allows unlimited usage across:

  • All departments

  • All teams

  • All projects

  • All listings

  • All marketing channels

Usage rights expire at the end of the one‑year term and must be renewed to continue use.

Pricing:

  • $250/year (images)

  • $500/year (video clips)

9. Exclusive Use Licensing (Annual)

Exclusive Use Licensing provides clients with sole rights to a specific image or video clip for one year. Droneology removes the selected media from the public catalog and does not license it to any other client during the exclusivity period.

This license applies only to exclusivity and does not expand usage rights. A Standard Project License is still required.

Pricing:

  • $250 per image per year

  • $350 per video clip per year

10. License Duration

All standard licenses are valid only for the duration of the original project or purpose. If the project ends, changes, or expands, the license may need to be updated or renewed.

10. Extended Licensing Availability

Any usage outside the standard project license may require an extended or updated license. Droneology LLC determines all licensing approvals and fees at its discretion.
